2008
Any ideas on tickets for 2008 (both parties)? I think it'll be Kerry-Edwards (assuming they win) v. Frist-Owens (thats Bill Frist and Bill Owens, gov. of Colorado.) Anyone else have ideas? What if the Dems lose this election? Let's speculate.

13. You are forgetting the upcoming constitutional amendment to allow Arnold
to run. . .they have been talking about a Naturalized Citizen for 25yrs clause.

14. there are no qualifications for VP
Edited on Fri Jul-16-04 11:43 AM by GreenArrow
set out in the Constitution.

Arnie will run for VP at some point, bank it.

On edit: no qualifications set originally set out in Constitution, but later added in 12th ammendment. Guess I was wrong about this. I still think the he'll find a way to run.

They're the same as for POTUS.

Part of Amendment 12: "But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."

16. you're right
I got bad info on this. There were no qualifications delineated in the Constitution as it was orignally written, but the 12th Ammendment in 1804 changed that.

Still, I suspect that Arnie will find a way around it.
