She also changed her vote on a flag issue a few years back after hearing Carol Mosley-Braun plead her case. It was over some group's use of the confederate flag as a symbol.

She winds up on her own now and then, so I'd not vote for Texas on this list.

I had a friend who told me that Kay Bailey was voted by a group of people around the senate as "Least Likely to become a Rocket Scientist."

Wayne Allard's sponsorship of the FMA and the horrifying speech he gave on Wednesday put him right up there with Orrin Hatch in terms of out-of-control deranged scariness as far as I'm concerned.
