Surprising man-on-the-street views |
|
My better half reports that a couple waiting in line at an Oklahoma City post office started talking about the Bush-Saudi connection (mentioning that they'd just seen "Fahrenheit 9/11"), then several others, including the clerk behind the counter, joined in the conversation and it sort of turned into an anti-Bush rally right there in the PO. Finally, one man said, "Well, I guess I've heard enough of this bullsh*t" and walked toward the door, whereupon he was promptly told to take his GOP and stick it.
Another bit of intelligence that came my way--the red, white and blue elephants didn't sell at a recent VFW convention in downtown OKC. Everybody wanted donkeys.
Shocking news for this area.

1. Funny how the Bush supporter felt he had to walk out |

instead of defending his views. I notice the ones that I know are like that, it's like they want to stop up their ears, rather than hear something that contradicts their black and white views.
