Why don't the Dems send out propaganda emails?
Why is the left so far behind the right in the creation and dissemination of talking points and spam emails?

The right sends out these screeds on at least a weekly basis. People forward them to each other and they get wide distribution. Few people bother to check snopes or read them critically.

We should be doing this you know, and the difference between theirs and ours will be simple - ours will be factual, not just a pack of lies literally made up like many of theirs are....

2. Heres an idea
start an e.mail-order business offering booklets with such catchy titles as :

The TRUTH about John Kerry
Bill Clinton: The Untold Story
Al Gore: Love Story of the Internet
Hillary Clinton Exposed
Election 2000: How THEY tried to Steal an Election (republicans claim Gore tried to steal it so this will really appeal to them)

Charge 3 bucks per booklet.

And send EXACTLY what your title suggest. Booklets refuting all the republican talking points. The thing is, chances are great it will be mostly republicans ordering the booklets. They will think the booklets contain "dirt" they can use. It's not false advertisement because you never claimed to "out the democrats" or "present right wing talking points"...only to expose the "truth."

Covers can be made with almost any "print" program. Stable the booklets together. Limited the size for cheap mailing.

Just a thought

3. You mean something like this?
An honest man was being tailgated by a stressed-out woman on a boulevard. Suddenly, the light turned yellow just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman hit the roof, and the horn, screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the intersection with him.

As she was still mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed and placed in a cell.

After a couple of hours, another policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects. He said, "I'm very sorry for the mistake. You see, I pulled up behind you while you were blowing your horn, flipping the guy off in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him. I also noticed the 'CHOOSE LIFE' license plate holder, the 'WHAT WOULD JESUS DO' and 'FOLLOW ME TO SUNDAY SCHOOL' bumper stickers and the chrome-plated CHRISTIAN FISH EMBLEM on the trunk.

Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car!"

4. They send emails and blast faxes at least daily, plus phone-call...
reporters. Being Democrats, our operation is not as organized, or as relentless, and our troops not as lock-step. I agree -- I wish we could do better.

8. Why don't they? because they're trying to be more middle of the road...
...heck, I wouldn't be surprised to see them agreeing with much of what's been written. (sarcasm alert)

9. Try the trof method. It's easy.
I started a file in Outlook Express (my e-mail program) labeled "Politics". There are 145 entries in there now. Many are debunkings from the Urban Legends (Snopes) website. Others are tidbits I've picked up here, at BuzzFlash, and other Dem/progressive websites. Some were sent to me by friends.

I can usually find something in there that relates to a rw e-mail I get. If not, I just copy-and-paste a couple that I particularly like and fire 'em off. New ones I search on Snopes.
I also believe in "lagnaippe", a little something extra.
So I send two for every one I get.

Here are the guidelines:
1. Start the file.
2. ALWAYS "reply all". It still amazes me how the rwers continue to send their crap to everyone in their address book, so that "reply all" goes to each and ever one of them.
3. ALWAYS send two for each one you get.

10. actually I get worthless crap (junk e-mail)
from losers on both the left and the right. I actually get much more from the left--and I find junk annoying--no matter who it comes from.

I am a very busy person (3 jobs--2 in addition to my regular teaching position) and do not want to get lots of junk to waste my time. It is hard to get this message through the thick skulls of my fellow California teachers (who are overwhelmingly VERY liberal). And don't even talk about the idiots at the union etc. I HATE JUNK E-MAIL. For me--most of my time wasting, annoying e-mail comes from leftist idiots.
