Listening the poll numbers from RW pollster
Again, on Hannity. Ed Goyez (sp?)

Says that Tenn is even, W is up in Fla., Kerry is up by 1 in Ohio.

~"It will be either a very close election for Kerry or it moves towards values and it is a big win for W ."

2. where did they find a poll that has Bush up in FL?
oh, they must have called Jeb and asked him

but I'm looking at 3 polls taken in July that have Kerry up by 7, 3, and 3 points

4. oh, never mind, it's Fox News
and there's a Fox News poll from June that has Bush up by 10 points ... of course, so when Jeb fixes it so that he only wins by 1 point, they can accuse Kerry of cheating in Florida to make it that close

6. ha ha, sorry to keep replying to myself, but
I looked at the entire poll that Fox did in June and in a 3-way race, they have Bush leading Kerry by a point ..... in the BLUE STATES!!!!!

3. wrong it will either be a close election
or a big win for Kerry. A presidential election is usually about the incumbent and the fact that W is not doing any better than even doesn't bode well. I think it could be 1980 all over again with last minute deciders coming decisively for Kerry.

5. From what I have read you are correct! If an incumbent president is not
ahead in the polls, swing voters and undecideds usually go for the non-incumbent. I you don't know if you are better off than you were 4 years ago, you probably are not!!

9. Kerry Landslide
Look for several threads here on DU forums that provide links to state polls. The movement is all in Kerry's direction.

I handicap the election this way: A close election is 50-50. But a big win is 80 percent for Kerry.

If by the middle of July an incumbent "war" president who has raised over $200 million is behind anywhere, it is a pretty clear sign of where the election is going to end up.

When it is all done, and Kerry elected, I think political analysts will point to the day the Abu Ghaib photos broke as the moment the election shifted decisively towards Kerry. In their guts Americans cannot abide the kind of shame that the Bush occupation of Iraq brought upon the nation.

8. Umm, "values"? Which values would that be?
Homophobic, belligerent, misogynistic, xenophobic, racist and corporate criminal values? Well then, I guess he's right.
