HANNITY TRYING TO CONVINCE UNEMPLOYED NEW YORKER THE ECONOMY IS GREAT

I was listening to Hannity on my radio in the car today. (I'm a glutton for punishment). He was doing this smug little piece where a Hannity employee would nab people on the streets of NYC to talk to Hannity on the phone. The point of this exercise, per Hannity, is to let the listeners hear all the Kerry supporting morons and listen to him talk them into voting for Bush.

So, Hannity is talking to this guy who has been unemployed since November. He said he was voting for Kerry. Then Hannity gets all spazzy and tells this poor guy b.s. like "Do you realize the economy is the greatest it has ever been in the last 20 years?" The guy says - I don't care - I don't have a job. Then Hannity starts hassling him about how many job interviews he went to. The guy said, he couldn't come up with a number because there were so many. Hannity accused him of not trying hard enough to find a job and tried to convince him that voting for Bush will help him get work. The guy said, "whatever Bush is doing now is not working - we need to give Kerry a chance." (well said) So, then Hannity tries to make this guy look stupid by asking him stuff like "Who is the vp", etc. When the guy answered all of his questions correctly, Hannity had to end the call.

He tried this on 2 other guys and the calls went pretty much the same way and Hannity looked like a total douche bag.

Although I'm really, really surprised Hannity would even think of trying such a stunt. But maybe he's listened to his own nonsense for so long, and heard so many sycophantic "You're the greatest, boss" and "You're just so smart, boss" compliments from his staff that he actually believes it now.

Live radio should be the richer for it, though. Just wait until someone drops a string of Cheney bombs on him.

25. After hearing the comments made by Hannity

regarding the Diallo case in NYC i wish people would stop listening to him. Some of you i'm sure remember the case where Diallo was brutally murdered by a few NYC police after they sodomized him ala abu Garib. Hannity went on to blame the murder victim and side with the cops.
