How big of a deal is the UN oil for food program scandal? I havent heard
much coverage of it after it broke a few months back. do any of you more seasoned DUers know much about this? if it turns out that saddam was giving money to the French, russians, etc....is that bad? does it matter? I mean, we traded with him in the 80's, so do we call it even? you can probably recognize my lack of knowledge about the subject by now, so any pointers about the UN thing would be helpful.

also, i fear it may be yet another talking point for the repubs.
