We Don't Need No Stinking Conspiracy Theories |
|
The known, the reported, the mainstream is bad enough.
From the PNAC, to the UNOCAL connections, to the conflict of Kissinger and Kean, to the OSP, to the Patriot Act, to the WMD intelligence manipulation, to the premature pullout of troops in Afghanistan, to the launching of a pre-emptive war, to the lack of planning for the invasion of Iraq, to Abu Ghraib, to the constant terror warnings, to the talk of election postponment, to the secret prisons, we have enough to keep us outraged.

So.... it isn't necessary to nail the people behind the curtain? Just run after the marionettes and pin a few of them down. Right?

Even non-outraged members of the public see that something like the war prisons (plural) scandal is not just a few bad actor enlisted soldiers. The task at hand is to keep such things as Bush-Cheney-Rummy foreign adventurism incompetence visible and forefront despite distractions such as useless attention-getting Senate debates.
