Another deluded Fundie: The things they don't know could fill a stadium... |
|
There is a new guy at work. He is a RW Fundie type. He is of the F9/11 is all lies set. So the other day I was joking with some of the others at work that my office is a First Amendment zone. The FNG had never heard of it and then when I explained what they were didn't believe that the Bushies actually do this. He tried to chalk it all up to "security". When I explained that the only people that get shuffled off to "First Amendment Zones" are people with, let's just say... GREVIANCES... he just stood there with this blank expression.
Arrrrrrrrrggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!! Don't these people ever get information from anything but Fox and Clear Channel?

|

I may be wrong, but if I am not, I am disappointed.

5. Why treat their protestors with more dignity than they treat ours? |
|
Maybe it's the only way to come to some sort of an agreement on what free speech really means.

I agree. I think TDS was trying to show how silly the WHOLE concept is. If they are going to herd our protesters off in to little corrals, why should we treat theirs any different?

7. It's actually been standard operating procedure for years now |
|
I remember when the third 2000 presidential debate was held at my college (Washington University in St. Louis). A large intramural soccer field was set aside as a place for protestors, since main campus was put under heavy security. The Secret Service didn't allow ANYONE who didn't have a reason to be there anywhere close to the hall where the debate was to take place.

Hmmm, is this something some fundies believe? I hadn't heard this or the context in which they believe this. Could you fill me in?

There have been quite a few prominent Fundies (of the Rush type) that haven't even seen the thing and say that it is all lies and propaganda.

8. I haven't heard what Rush has to say about F-9/11 |
|
but in the course of flipping channels the other night, I heard Bill O'Reilly say it has been "thoroughly debunked from top to bottom."
My mother hangs on his every word and wouldn't watch the flick if you locked her in a room in which the floor, walls, and ceiling were video screens and played it over and over again for a week.
