Join me for a little Dennis Miller smack-down:
ESPN is polling for a number of their ESPY Awards. Among the awards is a poll for the greatest FAILURE of the last 25 years.

I thought it was a way to stick a fork in the guy. I voted him number one.

1. Done.
Currently ranked 22.

I like how they point out he only lasted two years. He must have had a 2-year contract, or he wouldn't have lasted that long.

So why do you suppose ESPN doesn't have Rush on that list? Because they were idiotic enough to hire him in the first place, perhaps?

9. Me too. Dennis is such an all around flop
There are some big flops there. I did not even remember the National Sports Daily. The XFL was on my list too as was Jerry Faust.

Jonathan Silverman taking Gary Busey out on a date to a Polynesian Rennaissance Festival dressed like Quetzequatl and Cortez while blitzed on quaaludes and Pabst Blue Ribbon.

13. I, again, went channel surfing on my TeeVee...fell onto CNBC and
it was Dennis Miller... HE IS TOTALLY WEIRDLY MEAN, NONFUNNY (not even the paid audience would laugh-- by the way I did not see the monkey, maybe that is why they were not able to laugh) and STUPID.

But what really, really, impressed me was the MEANNESS that exudes from the guy...
I checked the program for five minutes and could not do it anymore.

That program joins Hannity and "colmes", O'Reilly, and Fox in general in my list of things to avoid in order to keep my sanity.
