Consider this about Kerry |
|
Noone can really say what he's going to be like as president. As a candidate, his job is to attract support. So he can't come out and be too much of a "lets bring them down" candidate, because it will turn off a certain segment of people. I think they are best off making friends with the bad guys and making them feel safe that he will still protect their interests until he gets into office. Then he can unleash a real progressive agenda to clean up the game.

Can you imagine the magnitude of the flip-flopping accusations that will be used against him in 2008, if he doesn't act the way he is indicating he will? He has already been established as a flip-flopper for many people, going from centrist to progressive after the election would mean he'll lose in 2008.

If he flip flops, but brings progress to America, charges of flip-flopping will be irrelevent. People will see him as a leader who does what he thinks is right.

3. Yes. Bush ran as a "compassionate conservative"... |
|
...and Repub voters just wink-winked, because they knew in their hearts he was a radical right-winger, just like most of them. Democrats do not have the same capability to look at Kerry in a similar manner. We want people to do what they say. We don't like the game of deception.

4. Kerry will pay the Piper and he's got corporate elites backing |
|
him, so I don't expect him to be too progressive. He'll be progressive in rhetoric but not in action. Meanwhile, he'll allow Sharon to continue his brutal apartheid policies against the Palestinians and call that defending Israel, and support the oligarchs in Venezuela to overthrow Chavez and support the brutal rule of Allawi in Iraq.

5. Maybe if you repeat your baseless gloom-and-doom predictions enough |
|
you will be able to discourage a few people from supporting Kerry.
