The sweetest justice
After reading the following article - Radiation in Iraq equals 250,000 Nagasaki bombs

http://www.onlinejournal.com/Special_Reports/071304Nichols/071304nichols.html

Anyways after I read that article, it came to me. The one course of justice that would seem fair for GWB. I would like to see President Kerry send George W. Bush to live PERMANENTLY IN BAGHDAD. Think that isn't bad enough for George?
Read the article and get back to me.

Here is one snip - One atom bomb was dropped by Americans on the city of Hiroshima, the other bomb on the city of Nagasaki three days later. About 170,000 to 250,000 people were vaporized or incinerated immediately. It was a really big deal.

It is a measuring stick that plays very well in the rest of the world; but, not very well on American Fox News (Fair & Balanced)© channel or the rest of the Fox-like American media. The Department of Energy still lists the Hiroshima and Nagasaki detonations as "tests".

The admiral released the data months ago at a scientific conference in India. This article is the first report of the data in the United States. It will first be released on the Internet.

The admiral in India calculated the amount of radiation in the Nagasaki bomb and compared it with the number in the 4,000,000 pounds of depleted uranium left in Iraq from the 2003 war. Now, believe me, it is a lot more complex than that; but, that is essentially what the experts in India did.

How many Nagasaki bombs equal the radiation in the 2003 Iraq war? Answer: about 250,000 Nagasaki bombs.

2. Is depleted uranium radioactive? If so, how can it be used
as ammo? Wouldn't it be dangerous to handle?

3. not dangerous until it strikes something,
like a tank, or a building or a jeep or truck. then it vaporizes and trace amounts bleed into the atmosphere and into the bodies of those that are near it. It's a way of getting rid of spent nuclear fuel rods, who'da thunk? Eric Blumrich has an interesting video about it, studies have shown an abnormal amount of birth defects from gwI, and the soldiers coming back to the states are being told the same thing the Nam vets were told about agent orange. The pentagon did a study on du and you can guess the results. Try a google or snopes on depleted uranium/birthdefects/Iraq.

Perhaps this article will give you insight as to whether DU is dangerous or not, based on health concerns from vets from Gulf war 1 and from the Iraqi population.

5. The same combat effect as from depleted uranium can be achieved...

...with other heavy metals, without radiocactivity, but the US and British militaries use depleted uranium because it's cheaper.
