The last IRAQ justification is on life support (Blair Gvmnt fesses up)
Edited on Sat Jul-17-04 06:48 PM by troublemaker
Starting this week Bush will no longer be able to cite mass graves in his Iraq speeches, since Tony Blair's government has now admitted that the claim that 400,000 Saddam victims have been recovered from mass graves in Iraq was "untrue," and that the true figure to date is about 5,000.

5,000 murdered people is still a lot of people, but they've been comparing Saddam to Hitler and Stalin and Pol Pot! Hell, even the biggest Saddam apologist in the world would have guessed that we had recovered more than five thousand bodies. Baghdad Bob would have admitted to 5,000. That's roughly half the number of civilians that our own American forces have directly killed in Iraq so far!

Look for mass graves in Afghanistan. They are there. Have link. Do your own search.... google for Afghan Warcrimes.

It's awful entertaining to have a madman at the helm.... truly it is.

3. Everyday I am more embarrassed to be associated with this
administration. Bush used the Blair lie as part of his invasion and justification. I hope Congress, when we overthrow the Republican war mongers/profiteers, will enact laws that won't allow 2nd hand information to be the basis for war action.
