What are we going to do if Bu$h and thugs let another attack happen?
I can't help from thinking they have something in the works to happen so the American people will rally around dumbo just like they did in 2001. I never did rally around him and never will. We all know bu$h doesn't accept losing....at ANYTHING....and I don't think he will accept being a one term pRESIDENT.So....is there anyone out there preparing for this,or are we going to accept it and bitch about it online? I hate that jerk too much to sit back and take another 4 years of his nazi agenda.Anyone got any suggestions on what we can do?:scared:

1. Watch them go down in flames
I suppose ads featuring Bush's main campaign claim: that he's made America safer - would fuel the burning process.

What's he going to run on if he fails to protect America?

2. I keep hearing them telling us
that the American people won't want to change horses in the middle of the stream....that if another attack happens they will want bu$h as their "president" because they "trust" him more than Kerry. Lies, lies and MORE lies......but the people will eat it up.

5. Kerry has nothing to do with it
People first decide if they want the incumbent in office, and if not they look at the challengers.

People will just stay home or cast a protest vote - doesn't matter if they like Kerry or not.

Look at what happened when Bush Sr raised taxes - he was abandoned and Clinton won. An attack on Bush II's watch would do the same thing. At least I don't see why it wouldn't.

4. Goat"7minutes" on tv ads will end rallying round bush
Edited on Sat Jul-17-04 10:26 PM by oscar111
Voters still dumb enough to rally around a prez, so we need to prevent that..

with tv ads showing again and again, bush reading The Pet Goat.

If public sees that, they will be as repelled from rallying, as once, they wuld've been attracted to a rally.

After such ads, any attack would add to OUR votes.

PS research by NYT, found the book title is not "my", but "THE pet goat".

11. Frankly I do not think much can be done
Lots of countries have had terrorists and until the countries found and stopped the reason for it it just kept up. What they are doing in Boston and Dc with the armed camp living shows how silly we seem to be. Hard to fight a tactic.

12. One Chant That Would Stick:

would be to turn Bush's words against him!

"He made America SUFFER!"

3. I don't see how another attack could help Bush
the people were fooled once; a second time would be much harder I believe.

6. Set aside your October and November weekends right now.
Schedule those weekends through actforvictory.org, or meetup.com. (or similar).

We will need to respond to the October Surprise, which may involve letter writing, protesting, passing out flyers, or anything else a volunteer organization can do. Then in November, if we feel it has been stolen, we will also need to be mobilized for action.

Somebody has to organize this stuff. It might as well be you and me. I will be working with my county Dem party, as well as the local group of former Dean volunteers (who have managed to stay together and organized). I am so weary that I can barely stand the thought of working this hard past the election, but I tell myself that it has to be done.

If not you, then who?

"Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a ripple of hope . . . and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy . . . they build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance."

7. Bush and his cronies will just find someone else to blame if there's
another attack.

The girls scouts this time, probably.
