If the World Trade Centers had not collapsed...? |
|
If..If...If...How many people would have died? Would the war on terrorism be different than today? Would we still have invaded Afghanistan and Iraq? Would the people have been as supportive at going after the terrorists?
It was tragic enough to see the planes fly into the WTC but it was devastating when they collapsed. The number of casualties increased dramatically. There is really no purpose in asking "what if" except to put into context why we are in our present predicament.

the collapse of the towers just made it that much easier for him to trade on the fear and grief of this country. BTW, My hat is off to all those brave souls who helped in the WTC recovery effort. They came from all over, and did not ask for recognition or praise in return. They were the best of humanity.
