Obituary in SF Chronicle: "Unelect that damn Bush"
Edited on Sun Jul-18-04 09:07 AM by Newsjock
From Friday's SF Chronicle
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2004/07/16/MNKAVINEDA22.DTL

KAVIN, Eda - Eda was one of the great ladies of San Francisco. And like The City itself, her life and art are a monument to what freedom, will power and the quest for beauty can achieve.

She was born in Berkeley in 1914 to immigrant farmers Natia and Rebecca Kavin who sold their Petaluma farm eggs at Fisherman's Wharf.

... Announcing recently that "Old age is not for me," it was her will to die comfortably at home, which she achieved on June 7.

She was 89. Eda's memory can be honored by supporting an artist or by helping to unelect "that damn Bush". Eda thanks you.
