McCain and Bush
I just watched Meet The Press and I just do not understand why and how Mr. McCain can support Bush. These were the people who smeared his reputation and said he might be crazy because he spent five years in a prison camp. I just do not see how he could live with himself after supporting the Bush camp? What is wrong with this guy? Do you think they have something on him, or is he just afarid that they will smear him again if he does not support them?

1. Probably promised Secretary of State, or Defense.
Was a hero, now a whore. I can't believe Kerry even considered him for the ticket.

6. Re: Probably promised Secretary of State, or Defense."
I sometimes feel like I am living in lala land with all the garbage that is being shoved in our faces. I used to have tons of respect for McCain but that is long gone. I have called his office numerous times to tell his staff that he is a coward, a wimp, a chickenass and whatever else comes to mind. I ask them how on earth he can climb in bed with a vermin like George Bu$h after the filthy things they did to him in SC in 2000.

Of course they never respond, just say they will pass along the message...... Yeah...sure they are.

Another person that I write a generous supply of letters to is Colin Powell. He's another one who has sold his soul to the devil.

What has Bu$h got on all these people? And what will it take for them to tell him to kiss off. I find that man to be one of the most despicable excuses for a human being that I've ever witnessed.

If that murdering, low-life, scumbag is a Christian I am the Virgin Mother! I say that as the mother of 6 and grandmother of 3!

3. McCain is a treasonous coward.............................

Politics is suffocating from the stranglehold of money. During his brief campaign in 2000, before he was ambushed by the dirty tricks of the religious right in South Carolina and big money from George W. Bush's wealthy elites, John McCain said elections today are nothing less than an "influence peddling scheme in which both parties compete to stay in office by selling the country to the highest bidder." ( http://www.commondreams.org/views04/0616-09.htm )

(comment added: So how much did bu$h pay McCain to sell his soul? I have never been more disgusted with anything than McCain's sell out. This people is treason... when an elected official, knowing full well what kind of damage has been done by another S-elected official, not only turns a blind eye but opts to participate in that damage. This is TREASON Dammit! )

4. McCain wants too be president in 08 and, being a Repug, thinks
he needs the fundies. So, he will not say anything much against the chief fundy. Funny thing is, he could probably put together a coalition of Dems and Repugs and win it w/o fundies -- but/and having a distinct right-wing slant. Bush knows that. If McCain is going too accept a cabinet job (God forbid this from ever happening), he is going too have too be a team player -- submissive to Bush. So that will not happen. McCain would take the VP job (big leg-up for 08), but that will not happen either. Bushies have other plans that do not include McCain.

5. Bush Plans for McCain??
Care to hazard a guess as to what other plans Bu$h has that do not include McCain?
This team player business is too much for me when so many underhanded & illegal activities are taking place. This sorry excuse for a Congress has to know what is going on.

I wonder if this country can survive these vermin.

7. I think different from everyone that has posted so far...
I think McCain knows that shrub is dangerous and is threatening our very existence. McCain is working on the inside to undo *&co. That is my opinion. :-)
