What crimes should Bush be charged with after he is defeated?
In what court? What charges have the best chance of sticking? In what jurisdiction and facing what charges would he face the most severe penalties?

2. Bush should be charged under the War Crimes Act of 1996
He and several of his aides should be charged with instituting torture in an offshore gulag system, for illegally going to war against a sovereign state with no provocation and for abusing the authority of an occupying power by attacking civilians in occupied territory and illegally selling the public assets of an occupied nation.

If the federal government is unable or unwilling to bring these charges under the War Crimes Act, then an international tribunal should be convened for this purpose and bring charges under the Third and Fourth Geneva Conventions and the Convention against Torture.

4. Why wait?
It takes a long time to bring all charges against these criminals and bring indictments against them. Start now.

5. I don't think he should be charged, but he should be imprisoned
You see, Bush really likes throwing people in jail with no charges, no access to lawyers and no contact from family or friends.

I want them to throw the Bush boy in jail, lock the door, throw away the fucking key and leave him to rot.

6. What crimes? The Principals of the Nuremberg Tribunal.
http://deoxy.org/wc/wc-nurem.htm

Crimes against peace: "Planning, preparation, initiation or waging of a war of aggression or a war in violation of international treaties, agreements or assurances." The War on Iraq is a war of aggression and was contrary to international treaties.

War crimes: "Violations of the laws or customs of war which include, but are not limited to, murder, ill-treatment or deportation to slave-labor or for any other purpose of civilian population of or in occupied territory, murder or illtreatment of prisoners of war, of persons on the seas, killing of hostages, plunder of public or private property, wanton destruction of cities, towns, or villages, or devastation not justified by military necessity." Abu Ghraib and the indiscriminate slaughter of Iraqi civilians.

7. It doesn't matter, Kerry will pardon him
just to calm down the RW and get on with the business of government.
He will become irrelevant, just as Nixon did.

9. What a crazy prediction.
I'd be willing to bet money that won't happen.

11. I agree, it's a long-shot but only because
the odds of him being ever brought up on charges is too. The best bet is nothing will happen and the country will move on. However, in politics, anything can happen.

12. No it's a long shot because
there is absolutely no chance whatsoever that Democratic President Kerry would ever pardon Republican criminal Bush.

Comparing this to when Nixon appointed his successor who pardoned him, probably according to their prior arrangement, is not valid.

8. War crimes, war profiteering, crimes against humanity
on an international level. Under our system, the admin could be charged with treason, national security violations, lying to federal investigators, RICO violations, violations of the patriot act, mail fraud, wire fraud, espionage,

The list goes on, what he will be charged with is yet to be seen. (If anything)

10. How about impersonating a President after getting his
brother to cheat on an election so it appears that he won.

13. Mass Murder. Then execute him ten minutes later with no appeal
just the way the Republicans believe it should be done.

Live by the Sword, Die by the Sword

It's the only way to save humanity.
