2. A thought provoking cartoon

Particularly since I somewhat ressemble the Sensible Liberal.

Of course Mr. Perkins only has a limited amount of space to make his point, so I don't blame him for not giving any space to the idea that some who favor Moderat liberalsm actually believe, for example, that better regulation on Free Trade might be a better solution than ending Free Trade policies whole sale.

Anyway, something to think about. I am somewhat comforted by knowing that to the Ann Coulters and Rush Limbaugh's of the world I am still a wild eyed liberal (as Rush Limbaugh said, any Proud Democrat is a Liberal Extremist).

6. There is so much truth to that

I'm tired of hearing dems distance themselves from Michael Moore. Michael Moore is and was right on the mark. I'm tired of hearing dems say the war in Iraq was appropriate or OK. We were lied to about why we went. We went under false pretenses. Even now that we know we were lied to, people -- even dems -- say it was "appropriate" ARGH.
