Fox News Leading Future Attack on Iran!!! (Their talking points exposed!)
Edited on Mon Jul-19-04 12:11 PM by skip fox
Fox must have gotten their talking points on Iran from the administration on Friday. Constantly over the weekend, I heard the commentators repeat the speculation that the Commission's final report would indicate that the "muscle hijackers" came through Iran. NOT ONCE DID THEY MENTION WHAT THE OTHER CABLE NEWS CHANNELS REPEATED EACH TIME: that the Commission will report that there was NO INDCIATION that they passed through Iran with government support or awareness.

Watch out . . . Isreal has its new attack plan on Iran solidified and the admin's mouthpiece is spewing venom about Iran. . . Something is in the works

1. Not Surprising
another oil-rich country.

Meanwhile, REAL THREATS, like North Korea are ignored. Why? Isn't it obvious?

3. If they attack another country
They'll lose 99% of the support they still have. But they're arrogant and incompetent enough to do it, anyway.

4. Note the term "Muscle hijackers" it's being used all over the cables,
heard it used on MSNBC....and we will hear it again. Did Rove coin this phrase or Gingrich who's still in the background.

Disgusting. "Muscle Hijackers." Sounds like something the mafia would use.

5. Since many of the Hijackers
turned up alive and well - MAYBE the first cause of business would be to point us to the hijackers - the ONES they claim who did it who aren't alive and well, people whose identities weren't stolen - even Mueller could not support the claim of hijackers.

How stupid the sheeple are to fall for this. ANOTHER negative that can't be proven - because their passports weren't stamped - evidence they'd been in Iran - and if they had of been stamped - evidence they were in Iran. Sheer stupidity. And yet not one talking head would probably even ask the pertinent questions. Are we to bomb EVERY country these hijackers showed up in?

8. wait wait wait! I have a question
Didn't these 'muscle' hijackers also pass through Saudi Arabia? Or, do only people that hate freedom and hate America ask that question?

Didn't some pass through Egypt as well?

And, if I'm not mistaken, several of them passed through Florida.

9. Who do they think is going to fight this one?
Iran has an actual military, with actual troops, and not a hell of a lot of folks looking to look the other way when the US troops start to roll.

A tired, beleagured, over-committed US war machine will be dealt a terrible blow if Chimp invades Iran. Who will he blame it on then?

Reagan?

11. There's talk of blockage and sanctions.
That's what we'll probably see, while behind the scenes we'll be aiding the reformers/revolutionaries.

17. IRAN in Bush's comments this morning!!!!
WASHINGTON (AFP) - US President George W. Bush (news - web sites) said that the United States was investigating whether Iran played any role in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, amid CIA (news - web sites) skepticism ofan official link.

"As to direct connections with September the 11th, we're digging into the facts to determine if there was one," Bush
said as he met with Chilean President Ricardo Lagos in the Oval Office.

His comments came after the acting director of the US Central Intelligence Agency (news - web sites) said some of
the hijackers who carried out the attacks passed through Iran but that Washington had no evidence that Tehran
backed the strikes.

"Acting Director (John) McLaughlin said there was no direct connection between Iran and the attacks of September
the 11th. We will continue to look and see if the Iranians were involved," said Bush.

19. I think this is as much about the Nov. election as anything else
Before the midterm elections in 2002 they were running around getting everyone worked up about Iraq, and unfortunately it helped them succeed in that election. Once again they expect Americans to jump behind Bush to be good patriotic Americans. Isn't the country any smarter this time around?
