John Podesta: Governor Dean to speak at LA Outfoxed premiere tonight.
http://www.blogforamerica.com/archives/004806.html

SNIP.."Outfoxing America
SNIP..."From my work for Vermont Senator Pat Leahy, and later as White House Chief of Staff, I always knew that Howard Dean was one of our nation's most effective leaders. He was a terrific chief executive, a courageous voice for tolerance and, thanks to Howard Dean's leadership alone, every child in Vermont—and virtually every adult—is now able to see a doctor.

Tragically, it's a record a lot of Americans never heard about.

Instead we were all treated to week after week of "news" stories about Howard Dean's web site, his fundraising, his personality, and his speaking style.

What we were hearing was the Washington echo chamber. It's what happens when we have cut-rate news coverage guided by the conservative status quo and conventional wisdom....."END SNIP

I feel it is poetic justice that Dean get to announce this premiere. That interview on Hardball where he said he was "ideologically" opposed to FOX stays in my mind. He actually spoke out for reregulation of the media.

1. Howard Dean is too intelligent,
too experienced, and too moral to not be on the national political scene.

6. That's too cynical. It plays into Bush's hands.
Republicans love it when people say "They're all no good."

8. Surgeon-general
is a nothing position. It's just a PR job, and beneath Dean.

5. Wonder if they are having a big crowd?
Would love to be a fly on the wall.
Now I must go and upload our pictures from yesterday to MoveOn, or single picture. Not sure what they will allow.

We had a good group here.
