Need opinions regarding Gov. Groper. Where is this guy heading?

What's your take on Schwartznegger's behavior regarding California's budget and that "girlie-men" remark? I know that Jesse Ventura was thought to be a bull in a china shop, used to getting his own way. I think the Scwartznegger's next two years will be a pout fest and instead of running in 2006, he'll pick up his toys and go home. Any deja vu here?

It seemed that the ONLY special interest that had his attention was Jessie Ventura, Inc. He didn't have time to bleed or lead. Spent a lot of time promoting his latest ventures.

Both parties were PO'ed that he'd won and tried not to work with him at all. He had a former teacher as his Lt. Governor and neither was able to advance education issues. IIRC there was a DFL majority in both houses so that was the only way anything got done.

Arnhald at least has a party infastructure to fall back on when the going gets tough.

9. Ahnuld is a White House attempt to conquer CA for the Republicans.

He's living walking propaganda of the mindset linquist George Lakoff lineated in his book 'Moral Politcs' which explains how conservatives have been changing this country with image propaganda.

The main idea is that we see our whole species as if we were a family and the Strong Father figure (strong, resolute, disciplined) represents the personality we want in leaders. You know, John Wayne, Ronald Reagan, Adolph Hitler.

That's why there are no humane apologies or admissions of error from this neocon cabal or Ahnuld since he got 'elected' (lots of Diebold problems in the recall voting.)

So Mr. Atlas Money Bags Celebrity with the ambition to marry into the Kennedy dynasty is the perfect front man for TV nation know-nothings to see representing the Republicans in this Democraticly held 5th largest economy in the world.
