Why will Guv Groper cut education and social programs? |
|
I mean, how about raising taxes on the rich? They can afford it. The programs he is cutting will hurt or youth and hurt the poor, more of which will turn to CRIME. Surely crime is a BAD thing?
Why not CUT CORPORATE WELFARE?
Why not put fees on SUVs, ciggies, and other things seen by the sensible as being BAD for us all?
Sigh... they could do so much, but prefer to shoot off their feet instead.
Glad my payroll dollars aren't funding that overgrown steroid-junkie baboon...

1. Why not change the way property tax is calculated... |
|
...right now it's set on sale date. So, corporations no longer sell their property. They enter into long leases.
Middle class people and people who are buying their first homes get hit with super high property tax valuations because they don't have a choice as to how they take their ownership interst. Corporations can form new corporations and set him transfers that aren't outright sales. Corporations also live for ever, so many of them will NEVER sell their property and will always pay at 1970s and 1980s valuations.
Bustamante and Davis were talking about reforming this huge inequity, and that's part of the reason all those big entertainment businesses which own property worth billions (which is taxed as if it were worth not even a million) were so eager to get Arnold in there.
Arnold willl never reform the property tax structure so that it reduces the burden on people who work for a living and increase the burden on the wealthies citizens in CA: corporations.
