Do you think our nation will be able to survive the Right's war plans? |
|
We have already invaded Afghanistan and Iraq. If the war plans Wes Clark had said are true, we'll also invade Iran (may be in the works now), Syria, and Somalia. Do you think our military will be stretched way too far? Will the nation survive economically? Do think we'll become a greater target for terrorists?

2. It's been said already that our military is overstretched... |
|
To start wantonly warring the world like this will bring about our destruction.
And heaven forbid we get attacked by a real army or a massive well-orchestrated terrorist attack... especially the former, the rest of the world would eventually wise up.

3. Its overall policies place this nation, this Republic, at it greatest risk |
|
in history, IMHO, be it on the environmental, economic/fiscal, or foreign-imitative (oil, hegemony, empire) fronts: We are now likely not only the most feared, but the most reviled, nation on the face of the earth.

I think we may be stretching that definition a bit.

4. Doesn't * have to get approval? |

Before his next jack-off invasion of a foreign country? Doesn't he have to go before the senate for a vote?
I hope and pray that there are enough (R) senators who don't hate America as much as Bush and his cronies do. I hope and pray that they don't ALL want to wack off and murder innocent lives so they can lube their hands with all the blood, oil and money like little Dick and his Bush do.

5. He can go for 90 days. |
|
But that would likely get him impeached if he went without cause.
I fully expect a dirty bomb with 'With love from Iran' painted on it to go off and give him his excuse come October.
