'Fahrenheit 9/11' May Yet Show Up Near Crawford - AP\Hou-Chron
<snip>

WACO - Michael Moore's record-breaking documentary about President Bush is a hit nearly everywhere -- except in the rolling hills near his ranch. But Moore and some peace activists want to change that by screening Fahrenheit 9/11 somewhere around Crawford

Even the side of a barn will do, activists say.

The undisputed box-office champ among documentaries has brought in $93.8 million, surpassing the $84.4 million domestic haul of its closest rival, the IMAX film Everest. But Waco area theaters in the largest city closest to Bush's spread aren't showing Moore's film about Bush's decision to go to war in Iraq after the 2001 terrorist attacks.

Skip Londos, who founded Friends of Peace, said his group would love to host the movie in Crawford, about 20 miles west of Waco. It would be a fund-raiser for the activists' group that help support the Crawford Peace House. But GOP members would be invited to come for free, he said.

Maybe Moore could toss a few early copies around New York city in time for the rePuke Convention. And maybe get them projected in ways that the conventioneers could not avoid seeing, and that the 'powers that be' could do nothing about. Not too many barns in NYC, but lots of tall buildings!!! Could be kind of a Batman thang...

:shrug:

3. I'd like to see it showing in Central Park during the GOP convention
Wouldn't that be an ass-kicker!

There are going to be hundreds of thousands of protestors in NYC, why not give 'em a little free evening entertainment?
