Hannity recommends not joining military if Kerry President!
Had displeasure of listening to the Irish Nazi for a few minutes this afternoon. Oh the irony and hypocrisy. Recommended to a graduating high school senior that he watch how the election turns out before he signs up. Said Kerry couldn't be trusted to be Commander-in-chief. Here we are again w/ a chickenhawk thinking he can actually offer an opinion on the military and service. And then trotting out the tired old chestnuts about Bush supporting the military his entire adult life and Sen. Kerry trying to cut 6 billion from the CIA's budget. So anyway, Hannity recommends people not sign up if Kerry wins. Again, this is how Republicans support our troops?

1. Good Idea
If you did, you might not get to go fight and die in the middle of the desert because your president wanted to get back at the man who hurt his daddy !!

2. Hannity is correct
Why would anyone want to join the military with less of a chance of getting killed?

5. No, they also support our troops...
...by hiding their coffins and funerals, cutting their benefits, and pressuring the media to hide any bad news about Iraq.

Now THAT's support!

6. That's the excuse they are going to use
for why people aren't signing up. It's not because of the mess in Iraq it's because Kerry might win.

9. Why is that Sean?
Because they might make it out alive? Let's take a look at the record:

Bush 1= 147 dead in Gulf War, 23 dead in Panama. 10,000 more troops killed in subsequent years from Gulf War Syndrome. Hundreds of thousands disabled.

Clinton= 18 killed in Somalia, which was actually started by Bush 1

Bush 2= Over a thousand dead between Afghanistan and Iraq. More than five thousand wounded, many permanently disabled. Osama bin laden still at large, no WMD's found in Iraq. Yeah, be sure and join up all you stout young men when a Bush is in office! They'll take good care of you!

16. Don't forget about Kosovo ...

ZERO KILLED, despite the dire predictions of the conservatives saying that Kosovo would become a quagmire bloodbath.

What they MEANT to say was there was no oil in Kosovo. No sense in wasting military capability when there is nothing to be gained by defense contractors.

18. You're right
I didn't include Kosovo because the were NO American casualties. That's something that no American commander in history can ever claim, and yet Democrats are wimps? Hah!

When he was draft age, did he join?

NO!! Must have been because that liberal pissant President Reagan was no real Commander In Chief--what troops could respect him?

Screw Sean Hannity and all of the other bullshit Chickenhawk talkshow dinks who had "better things to do" when they were of fighting age.

BTW, I signed up six months after Reagan's inaguration, in spite of how mightily I disagreed with Bonzo, godfather to the current Chimp-in-Chief. I felt like I had to--both because I figured I owed the service, and because it was the gateway to college funds (like today...)

I did my six, Sean, how about you, ya' f***ing coward?!!

10. Wingers live in a fantasy world.
Retarded, cowardly Duhbya is a brilliant military and political leader. His catastrophic invasion of Iraq made the whole world safer. Sober, highly decorated war veteran Kerry is totally unfit to fill his shoes.

Is Hannity insane, stupid, or lying? Who the fuck knows? Why do you watch him anyway?

ANYONE to not sign up when all the services are so short handed due to Shrubco's fiascoes. Really beyond disgusting even for him.

19. Military experience not totally necessary ....

The president sets priorities and outlines a the mission. Generals carry out the mission. As long as the President listens to generals carefully and MAKES SURE that the mission is worth it, you're OK.

That having been said, KERRY HAS SERVED. KERRY staved of budget cuts to the CIA AND MILITARY that were LESS severe than Republicans like DICK CHENEY would propose. You'll never here THAT coming out of Colmes' mouth.

All that being said, Kerry DID serve in a foreign war with distinction and honor. Unlike George Sr, Kerry got his metals for saving the lives of fellow soldiers at risk to his person. George Sr was decorated for condeming two crewmates to their death.

The idea that Kerry isn't fit to lead is prepostorous.
