In 1996 then-UN Ambassador Madeleine Albright was asked by 60 Minutes correspondent Lesley Stahl, in reference to years of U.S.-led economic sanctions against Iraq, “We have heard that half a million children have died. I mean, that is more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?”

To which Ambassador Albright responded, “I think that is a very hard choice, but the price, we think, the price is worth it.”

They weren't your children, so why quibble, eh?.

How many times have I typed up her apology from her book for you? She says it's the worst thing she's ever said in her life. It was a horrible thing to say and she knows it. How can you paint an entire person's life by one awful moment? Do people judge you by the worst thing you've ever done?

Remember when she was Sec. of State. She was everywhere! She was in every country where there was a crisis. And you saw alot of her on TV. That reminds me. Have you seen Powell lately? Don't see much of him. Probably biding his time so he can cut and run after election!
