I really need to know if there is any truth to this. At first, I didn't believe it, but the reporting online just keep coming and Truthout has always struck me as being honest and truthful.

I will also send a request to the Fort Worth Star Telegram tomorrow, my browser here at home would not send the request, so I will try from work. The FW Star Telegram is somewhat left leaning, so maybe I will get some kind of response.

'Secret film shows Iraq prisoners sodomised'

Young male prisoners were filmed being sodomised by American soldiers at the Abu Ghraib prison near Baghdad, according to the journalist who first revealed the abuses there.

Seymour Hersh, who reported on the torture of the prisoners in New Yorker magazine in May, told an audience in San Francisco that "it's worse". But he added that he would reveal the extent of the abuses: "I'm not done reporting on all this," he told a meeting of the American Civil Liberties Union.

He said: "The boys were sodomised with the cameras rolling, and the worst part is the soundtrack, of the boys shrieking. And this is your government at war."

I am sending it to local press, trying the grassroots thing our repukie enemies use. Let the locals stir up the big dogs and harass them by challenging them and saying they are conservatives and not liberals.

16. We need to play their games. Local guys want to grow up to be big

guys and get the big bucks with the large networks.
How do they do that? They break important stories, they make names for themselves, they are hungry and eager to make a mark.

Not like the talking heads on the networks. They are set and fat and comfortable and lazy.

Let's feed the local guys and give them a chance to head to the big leagues. It can't hurt.

You have to realize one thing. Not every teenager or younger in a military prison is an "innocent." In Somalia, some of the Somalis shooting at us were no older than 13 or 14. Some of the kids running out into the street to pick up dropped AK-47s and RPGs were younger than that. It was not easy to pull the trigger on these.

That said, being one of the enemy does not give Americans the right to rape or sodomize them.
