The Internet has done wonders for we Democrats.
I see the Internet as a "free press" for the 21st Century.

While our media is censored by the government, particulary Cable,
we still don't see the hard story's on the Evening News coverage.

What are you're thoughts on this topic?

2. Definitely
I think the only problem is for people to find an alternate source of information they trust. For many people its better to go with the devil you know then the devil you don't.

I wish I knew about DU in 2000 because I relied on mainstream news sources via the Internet. DU reminds of The Daily Show, an offbeat but nevertheless trustworthy way of getting information.

3. Yep. Let those major media shills keep thinking that we're buying..
their propaganda. They're cruising for a bruising. They are headed for a very rude awakening. Surely they must realize that the left is getting very restless. Time is running out for those whores and shills. It should be very entertaining to see how they handle their demise.

4. Don't get too excited about it
I just spent 9 days on vacation where no one around had internet access. It's all too easy to think that just because we're all wired that most everyone else is... many people for many reasons still get non-stop far right wing propaganda as their only sources of news and information.

And their attitudes reflect it.

5. There was a time cable showed what was really going on
as contrary to the family values sanitized broadcast news. I think we need to give the journalists the range they need to report what needs to be reported no matter how boring because we need to know. Edward R. Murrow understood that.
