I REALLY tried to watch some news last night after getting home late -to get the high-lights, the days major events - and out of desperation I turned on Hannity & Colmes. And there was Sean talking about how Democrats need to get a sense of humor and that Ahnoold was "only joking" and the Dems are making a big deal out of nothing.

And I realized - okay when a COMEDIAN jokes about Bush it is 24/7 bashing of the Democrats as "hateful" - but when a POLITICIAN jokes about the Democrats - it is "just a joke".

Even switching to Chris Matthews - talking about Iran - okay, so now I guess we are supposed to take our outrage out on Iran and not on Bush for taking us to war with the "wrong country". They don't even care that it makes Bush look bad, just on with the agenda.

The dumbing down of America is now almost fully complete. I now understand that you have to be incredibly uninformed and unintelligent to watch most of the news programs. Thank God for the Internet is all I can say.

Actually if Conservatives verbally insult Democrats it is just done for the good of the country. Even if they lie, cheat, steal, take drugs, rape, and molest, it is never a big deal. Even if they kill someone they'll get off easy. Janklow killed a motorcyclist and got only 100 days in jail (http://www.commondreams.org/news2004/0123-06.htm)

There are totally different rules for Democrats. I am so tired of that bullshit. Democrats need to fight back more.
