cnn reporting that sandy berger was observed stuffing his socks with classified documents at the library. and that's after claiming that he 'inadvertedly' took some of the documents home on 5 occasions. is this a joke?

he was working on the clinton's report to 9/11 comission, so this has absolutely nothing to do with kerry, he should just fire this guy.

I have not heard one credible source say he stuffed anything in his socks. He simply folded his hand written notes and put them in his pocket.

I bet every single person with this kind of clearance has done that before, not knowing exactly what is classified and what isn't. Documents can have portions that are classifed and portions that aren't, and they aren't marked with gigantic red letters saying "do not remove."

As I recall presumed innocence used to be an American thing.
