"Lawmaker Decries Kerry-bin Laden Stickers"
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A Republican lawmaker says it was inappropriate for a GOP office to display a bumper sticker declaring: "Kerry is bin Laden's Man. Bush is Mine."

Kentucky Rep. Anne Northup said she found out about the stickers over the weekend and doesn't want any more distributed. "What campaigns need to center on, debates need to center on and the party needs to focus on are ideas," she said.

Jefferson County GOP chairman Jack Richardson IV said the stickers were so popular that GOP headquarters ran out Friday. He won't distribute more, but is trying to locate their source for those who want them. "I believe in the question this bumper sticker raises," Richardson said.

Bill Garmer, chairman of the Kentucky Democratic Party, said the sticker equates a decorated Vietnam veteran with Osama bin Laden - "one of the greatest enemies of the United States."

1. if they had a brain
they would know that Bush is bin Laden's man. Bin laden is a very smart man and his plan is working very well to weaken the US and what it stands for in the world. He wanted us to over react, and thus self in-posing reduced freedoms and global disdain. Bin Laden trigged a war that turns an empire on it's self through the ignorant actions of its leadership. Fear destroys freedom...Bush uses Fear to rationalize his actions...therfore Bush destroys freedom (exactly what the terrorist want).

2. "I believe in the question this bumper sticker raises" -- what question
is that, Mr. Chairman? How about,

"Is it appropriate for a campaign to equate its opponent with someone responsible for committing murder in the name of God?"

Oops... that's not the right question, since you could replace "bin Laden" with "Bush" in that case. Oh, well.

What a lame thing to say: "I believe in the question this bumper sticker raises." Yeah, and I believe you're a partisan jerk with your nose up W's ass. :eyes:

4. I suppose the idiots in Kentucky are thinking..
it worked on Max Cleland in GA (something that you still don't want to get me started on), so it can work on a national level.

Assholes.

I hate Republicans.
