Dennis Hastert is soo concerned over this Sandy Berger issue.
Funny as hell. CNN just reported that House Leader Hastert was greatly concerned about what Berger was trying to hide. Wolf Blitzkrieg said the real issue was if Berger stuffed these papers into his socks. This is such a load of shit that it's unbelievable. So Hastert isn't concerned about the buggery of children in Iraq, but Berger MUST have been doing Clintons business when he stole that material. This just PISSES ME OFF. Fuck these hypocrites.

1. Yeah, don't forget their concern over the fundraising video.
They wanted that video released ASAP but not the photos of the prison scandal?

Bushco. has their priorities...Are they yours?

2. The Sandy Berger "issue" is a godsend for the Rethugs.
It is the smokescreen behind which Plamegate will be kept from public view for a while.

3. Hastert knows that their base will rally to this
Being faced with such miserable repub failure as the elections approach, this is a tried and true repub base riler. Hastert is probably thanking his lucky stars.

5. Smokescreen for This......Our $$$$$$$$$

How has the US been spending other people's billions?

Simon Tisdall
Tuesday July 20, 2004
The Guardian

snip.

Right now, Mr Waxman has a question on Iraq. In fact, he has several - and in typically robust fashion, he is demanding answers. What he wants to know is whether the Bush administration has been fiddling with Iraq's oil revenues.

He wrote to the Republican chairman of the reform committee on July 9, suggesting there was a serious case to answer. Subpoenas should be issued, he said, "to investigate potential mismanagement of the Development Fund for Iraq (DFI) by the United States".

The DFI was set up after last year's invasion as the depository for Iraq's multi-billion-dollar oil revenues and was administered, until June 28, by the US-led Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) - with notional UN oversight.

In particular, Mr Waxman is curious about "the administration's last-minute 'draw-down' of billions of dollars from the DFI for unspecified expenses" prior to last month's transfer of sovereignty. "For example, $1bn was withdrawn from the DFI during the last month of the CPA's existence for unspecified 'security' purposes."

8. About this "sock thingie"....
Edited on Tue Jul-20-04 12:00 PM by Flubadubya
I heard them say that Kelli Arena got this information from two (mind you 2) police or security officers at the archives where the alleged "theft of documents" took place.

What is wrong with this picture? If these guys were in charge of seeing to it that no improprieties take place at the archives, why in heavan's name do they let Berger just saunter out of the place having seen him "stuff them in his socks"? Were these guys not doing their jobs? Would they not have confronted him with it at the time, and if they had, would it not have been "news" long before now?

These people are SO not cool. Sheez! :puke:

9. But the RWingers calling C-Span already had the TALKING POINTS!
Who sends them the talking points? It is early in the morning, and one of them had looked for the article in the NYT, the WashPost, the WashTimes, etc. etc. I DON'T BELIEVE SHE HAD LOOKED AT SUCH A THING!

And this was mentioned last night... as far as I know.

Do they send the talking points by e-mail to regular rabid right wingers????

11. If the 'Berger' thing is the best they can do . . . . .
In light of all the larceny, murder, and child buggery they're guilty of, then. . . . What I want to know is, why isn't the Democratic 'LEADERSHIP' screaming bloody murder about Republican treason and crime?!!!!!:spank:
