The three main networks (and strangely enough, NOT our local Fox affiliate) are showing W's speech in Cedar Rapids (complete with staged comments from "real Iowans" who all tell him how wonderful he is).

Now, how can they televise a campaign stop and not give Kerry equal time. I admit that I don't know how it all works, but it seems to me that he's being given a loooonnnngggg campaign commercial for free.

I want to vomit, looking at him in his shirtsleeves, pretending to be a "normal guy" and smirking for the camera. Ugh.

God I want to bash the TV...he just said "when we put troops in harm way, we have to support them..." referring to Kerry/Edwards vote against the 87 billion...

Their blood is on YOUR HANDS!!!! YOU put them in harms way, NOT Kerry/Edwards!!!

6. The "town meeting" here is at a community college...

...ticets were only available to Repubs and then only to ones who were considered to be 'strong' supporters of the current regime.

I wondered how it would do any good to only have his base at the event, but then, I wasn't aware that it was gonna be televised on ABC, CBS, and NBC. I also heard on the news that they may rebroadcast it later on today.

Oh, this makes me so mad!
