The timing of this "investigation" into Sandy Berger reeks |
|
Edited on Tue Jul-20-04 02:55 PM by devrc243
to high heavens. could explain why this "investigation" is coming out now--to discredit him?
Here is his stance on war with Iran taken from an excerpt of "Against All Enemies," by Richard Clarke
"Some in the Saudi royal family, like Bandar's father, Minister of Defense Sultan, reportedly welcomed the possibility of a U.S. war with Iran, if America would remove the Tehran regime. Bandar, in private talks with senior American officials in 1996 and 1997, suggested that all that was stopping the Saudis from implicating Iran was the fear that the American retaliation would be half-hearted. If the U.S. could promise a full-scale fight to the finish, then the Kingdom would probably tell all that it knew about the Iranian role in the Khobar attack. Sandy Berger told Bandar that the United States could not promise what it would do on the basis of evidence it had not seen"... "Against All Enemies," by Richard Clarke
This obvious "smear" at Sandy Berger is no coincedence. There is much much more going on and what a "coincidence" :eyes: Bush is looking so closely at Iran for a link to 9/11. Wake the hell up America! This looks to get real dirty, real fast.

1. And it's already pretty damn dirty |
|
I don't know if this is a smart move or a dumb one. I've been telling my friends that an invasion of Iran is inevitable if Bush is reelected, and along with that a reinstatement of the draft. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

3. it hasn't even begun to get dirty |

unfortunately. They are trying to discredit Berger. Without credibility, no one will listen. They are turning him into the fall guy while they try to push on with this war. Berger KNOWS much more than we will ever know out here in "dumb land" and I believe he is a man of his word. He took his job of NSA very seriously.

2. Your absolutely right. |

Sandy Berger is being framed for more than one reason. This is definitely one of them. Thanks for starting this thread.

Making UP a lie about Berger to say: "see, everyone leaks shit. So what?"
