FBI looks for fresh clues in anthrax case
Army's bio warfare lab shut down since Friday

FREDERICK, Md. - FBI agents combed laboratory suites at Fort Detrick — home to the Army’s biological warfare defense program — on Tuesday, and a source said they were again looking for evidence in the 2001 anthrax attacks.

The labs at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases have been closed since Friday, Fort Detrick spokesman Charles Dasey said.

A law-enforcement source, speaking on condition of anonymity, told The Associated Press the activity is related to the anthrax mailings that killed five people and sickened 17 in autumn 2001.

FBI agents have frequently visited Fort Detrick since the unsolved attacks, amid speculation that the deadly spores or the person who sent them may be connected to Fort Detrick.

2. I feel sorry for the poor bastards working on that case
They will NEVER be allowed access to the information that will track the anthrax back to Bush TrashCan Man (Stephen King, take note)

I mean, I understand that occasionally, the Imperials need ti to appear as if there is an investigation going on and all, but could you imagine being an honest FBI agent stuck onthat shitpile of a tanked investigation?

Plus, if you actually found something out, you'd probably sort of, you know, fall a long ways out an unscreened window onto a hard surcface 75 feet below.

3. Really. I'd hate to be the poor bastard who actually uncovered the
real anthrax mailer. They would disappear you.

4. Philip Zack
http://aztlan.net/zack.htm

The evidence against the racist Zionist bigot Dr. Philip "Mengele" Zack is very strong. Lab specimens of anthrax spores, Ebola virus and other pathogens disappeared from the Army's biological warfare research facility in the early 1990s during the very same period that the conspirators were harassing Dr. Assaad. An 1992 inquiry into the disappearance of the deadly pathogens found evidence that someone was secretly entering the laboratory late at night to conduct unauthorized research involving anthrax. A numerical counter on a piece of lab equipment had been rolled back to hide work done by the mystery researcher. A lab scientist, Dr. Mary Beth Downs, told investigators that she had come to work several times in 1992 to find that someone had been in the lab at odd hours to use the electron microscope to conduct some clandestine research. Dr. Downs reported in a memo that whoever was using the microscope was "either in a big hurry or didn't know what they were doing." Documents from the inquiry show that one unauthorized person who was observed entering the laboratory at night was Lt. Col. Philip Zack who at the time no longer worked at Fort Detrick. A surveillance camera recorded Lt. Col. Zack being let in at 8:40 P.M. on January 23, 1992, by another conspirator by the name Dr. Marian Rippy. Dr. Philip M. Zack has not been arrested.

5. Case is practically solved, is it?
And it only took three years. Just in time for the election, but I'm sure that's just a coincidence, right?

Considering the chemical signature of anthrax, the limited quantities of it available, the reportedly high grade and refinement of what was used against Sen. Leahy, it must have been about as difficult to track it down as a long blonde hair in a room full of doddering, feeble millionaires being sized up by Anna Nicole Smith.
