PNAC's Woosley says he's know Burger for 20 yrs and that he sees no way Burger could have done this with bad intent. Woolsey admits that he himself was punished for taking Classified docs and misplacing them in an embassy.

1. That's my take on this, too...

Berger sounds a bit disorganized.. not criminal. Bush will NEVER take classified materials, because he never bothers to pick them up in the first place. THAT should be a crime in itself.

I can only imagine the directive from the Bush camp regarding this issue... Bush, in his usual Godly fashion, "berger slipped up? Berger is in with Kerry? Fuck him! Fuck him good!"

3. The ONLY reason this is an issue

is what you said. Berger is a Democrat, and he's helping Kerry. They are already trying to spin the information so that it looks as if Kerry ordered the stuff taken. They are totally shameless because they really view Democrats not as the opposition, but as the enemy to be conquered and crushed.
