1. Nothing.

But then it's hot and they don't really have electricity, and when they do I'm sure getting the water tank filled is more important than blogging.

I'm just hoping that we haven't "accidently" bombed her house.

So, yes, I'm worried but still hope to hear from her soon.

3. Have been deeply concerned about her & Salam

Her last post that just spoke of Iraqi casualties could suggest her total exasperation with our extremely misguided adventure.
No way of telling if it's the heat or exasperation or the electrical failures that have silenced her incredibly perceptive voice. I miss her terribly. And Salam as well. What have we done to these wonderful individuals?

I think she and her family are trying to survive as best they can this summer. Blogging probably seems like a waste of time with all they have to contend with. I check every day. She certainly put a human face on this tragedy for me.
