1. I agree - and I intend to buy some of her CD's - I always liked her
music and now that she has taken a stand and a kick for her stand, I am proud to buy her music. Maybe she should do a patriotic CD to include Desparedo.

2. That would be great!
Not only is she a great singer but it would be nice for the party to show some outright support to people who are taking it on the chin for speaking out about their political beliefs.

4. +DixieChicks,Whoopi, Elton John&Marshall Mathers,etc.DaveChappell as MC
Let's remind America about the intolerence and media domination of the reichwing with their favorite entainers telling America how they've had the their right to free speech threatened. Get Willie, Bruce, Elton and Whoopi on a stage together with a huge crowd. One of the hugest crowds, tell the world that liberals and even regular Americans aren't afraid of Al Queda terrorists or the BFEE-Halliburton terrorists.

7. Off subject but, who is Chris Heinz?
Besides Kerry's step-son. Is he Democrat or Repub (like his dad was)? Does he really lurk here, or were you kidding?

10. Great person and
great singer. She should close the show with a dedication to the pResident, "You're No Good".
Her brother is a bit of a winger here in Tucson but I like her politics. Woulda voted for Jerry Brown just to have her as "First Old Lady".

11. That would be cool.
She has a pretty voice.

It was ridiculous how she was treated in Las Vegas.

15. I actually don't think it's a good idea.
I don't want it to look like she is a shill for the Dems. If she speaks at the convention, that's exactly what it will look like.

If she doesn't speak, this situation will look exactly like what it is: A centrist who is pissed at the *ies. That's more valuable.

I'll still support her, and I hope others do too.
