What's scary is that if Bereger were the whole shooting match, they wouldn't have leaked it this early. What's even scarier is that, like many DUers feared, neither Dem leadership nor Team Kerry made a peep about the Find-Osama-by-the-Convention leaks or even had surrogates screaming more general warnings: "Watch out for all the GOP leaks before our convention."

Risk aversion left us wide open for Asscroft's Berger shaft. When will the Dems learn the the GOP plays for keeps 24/7 365, nothing off limits? Jeez.

4. This Berger thing will play to the faithful Clinton haters

They will chew on this for weeks and it will distract them from how miserable Bush* is showing of late. The rest ofthe Country will see nothing materialize and it will be forgotten. Hopefully someone will take the time rub Faux News' nose in the particularly piss poor slam job they did, but I'm not holding my breath.

I do agree, they have more dirty tricks up their sleeves. I predict a screaming headline- "Edwards Co-Dependent! Enables drunk brother by buying him a House!"
