America is adrift on a sea of confusion and fear. There is no land in sight. There is nothing on the horizon except the sea. A sense of hopelessnes envelopes many of those that have optimistically believed that eventually America would see the truth.
Now, there is that seed of doubt. Perhaps America will not see the truth? Perhaps it is America's fate to be ruled by maddogs and Englishmen? Perhaps America is no longer the hero of the world that comes thru at the last moment to save herself and the world?
Perhaps we are alone - those that believed in our country and hoped that, in the end, America would awaken and see the error of her ways? But, there is that little mustard seed of doubt, isn't there? Will our faith remain steadfast?

Why so glum, chum?!
It ain't that bad, bud. The tide is turning. I can see it and feel it. I hear it in places like this and elsewhere everyday.
The wind of change is blowing and the sound of inevitability is growing. By the start of winter, all shrubs will be gone. We can look forward to a very Kerry new year!!
Buck up, pal. :toast:

but I sense a desperation in many voices. Deception is a strong enemy, which can only be defeated by the truth, not by any false sense of security or happy faces...

3. The desperation you hear is in the voices of the GOP. |

That is why the Berger BS - they are scrounging to put out stories about stuff (terra, Iran, Berger) in the hopes of deflecting the impact of those that will involve all of their scandals and war crimes.
If it makes you feel any better, neocon, crazy man Savage says he ain't voting, he doesn't like either candidate. He has a huge audience of neocons that may follow his lead. A no vote for * is fine with me.
Things are turning and things do look good, we just have to keep at it and realize that from now to Nov is a long time to ride the roller coaster.
:yourock: and don't you forget it!

and you have provided some great links and resources and insight. Get some rest and just relax. The momentum is ours, let's just keep it steady, cautious and sure. They will continue there crap, but now it appears that the dems are standing their ground and giving it back to 'em (however slightly).
Peace my friend. When I post a low post, just remind me to buck up and stay the course.
We dems can save this country. :grouphug:
