I agree about the dems not fighting. They are a bunch of spineless idiots most of the time. It's a shame really. The country deserves so much better from them... ah well...

However, I do think they have brought this up for a political reason, to try to cover up bad news for themselves. There's plenty out there... Plamegate, Child Rape, etc. Most people probably see just how silly this thing with Berger is.

Just check out all of the Berger threads posted here today and all throughout the threads you'll see "don't worry", "no biggie", "non-story", etc. Meanwhile the press is having a field day with this story pounding into the subconscious of America that the Clinton admin had something to hide re: 9/11. Yeah, no biggie, and I'll bet that Americans don't believe that Iraq had anything to do with 9/11 either, thanks to our outstanding press corp. I thought Blitzer was going to have an orgasm today when he 'woefully' reported that "this is a story that just won't go away."

If it is a non-story, and I believe that that is the case, then every Democratic congressperson should be all over the airwaves bitching about the play that this story is getting. Anytime the pugs give anything to the press it automatically becomes a front page story. Why don't our leaders just show up on these programs and ask flat out, why aren't you reporting about Bush's destroyed military records or any of the other hundred cowardly, criminal acts done by the Bush admin.
