Many Elite Soldiers Leave for Better Pay
WASHINGTON - Just when the U.S. military needs them most, senior Green Berets, Navy SEALs and other elite forces are leaving for higher-paying jobs.

After getting years of training and experience in the military, they leave for other government jobs or for what defense officials said Tuesday has been an explosion in outside contractor work.

1. Well, what can I say. The Military had a problem ever since they
stopped pillaging and rape. For eons...the troops got to pillage the village and rape the women....but along came rules and War was never the same.....

What? Those Cheap Pubs want a First Class Army with cheap pay?

2. You, know, all in all, military pay is not THAT cheap
If you've been in for 4+ years, it's not really all that bad.

3. Then why the exodus to private Companies that pay $200K per year
If one is to face danger....the pay should be relative. In the Bible, the troops got to keep the houses, the animals, the women, and the Land. All the gold/silver went to the Levites.

In todays Army, the troops get promises, sometimes kept, some not.

4. Becasue they don't pay that much!
Today, they get paid well enough to attract and retain the number the military needs. To many, the "risk" seems to be worth it.

5. It ain't as good as "contractor work"...
...and it has more hassles.

Why salute some kiss-ass general when you can have a boss with a direct pipeline to Cheney.

6. Another example of "Bush is destroying our military"
Collect the whole set and pass them on.

8. Why WOULDN'T they leave rather than serve the whim of an Imperial Monster
They joined to protect and defend the Constitution and the Old American Republic.

They can better defend them now by opposing the Emperor who has shredded them both.
