Stewart Slams King Over Cell Makeover Joke
Lifestyle guru Martha Stewart slammed American chat show host Larry King on Monday night - after he joked she could do a makeover on her cell when she goes to jail later this year. The 63-year-old businesswoman was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice by a New York jury on Friday, and was sentenced to five months in prison and another five under house arrest by judge Miriam Cederbaum. On last night's edition of Larry King Live, which was recorded prior to Stewart's sentencing, King infuriated the usually-calm star when he made the joke while quizzing her over the trial. Martha snapped, "It's not a joking matter. I'm afraid to be incarcerated. It's a lack of freedom. My freedom is taken away."

Now that's journalism ladies and gentlemen! What an idiot.

1. I watched it - she didn't appear to "slam King" - but was indignant
that he would ask such a stupid question. It's a catchy title though - for entertainment news.

3. Good thing we got that uppity woman...
What's happening to all those old white men who did worse crimes before Martha did hers again?

5. Like Whoopi's "Bush" joke... it's a scandal about repeating street humor
Who hasn't heard a version of the "bush" joke, or the "Martha redecorates her cell" joke, years before these little to-dos over nothing. God, you humans are stupid. When the mothership comes for me, I'll only hang around long enough to vote before leaving.

6. IMHO
She looked somewhat amused, TTTT.. She did laugh at first when King said others had said it.

To me, she looked like a teacher chiding a student for saying something inappropriate (but was still funny)..

Of course this came right after she had said she'd write a book on how to behave when in legal trouble...
