"Protect the sancity of DIVORCE from gays"
I saw that bumper sticker on the back of a car yesterday. I've been thinking about it since then, but am not quite sure what to make of it.

Any thoughts?

The guy also had a "Republicans against Bush" bumper sticker, which I thought was cool.

1. I think it is implying
that the sanctity of marriage is more threatened by divorce than gays.

2. If he had a "Repuiblicans against Bush" bumpersticker...
then I'd guess the first bumpersticker was sarcastic, more than anything.
It's a play on the whole "sancity of marriage" crap the reich-wing is trumpeting, even though approx 1/2 of all marriages end in divorce.
