Greg Palast and others team up at Take Back the Media Summit

Here's the scoop ladies and gentlemen, Take Back the Media in conjuction with many others is holding a Media Summit in Boston on July 24th and 25th right before the Convention. (We'll also be attending and filming there as well)

We want to invite any and all DU'rs to stop by if you are in the area and meet some real heavy Luminaries, see some film clips, get involved personally with these media geniuses and actually hammer out a plan to TAKE BACK THE MEDIA.

YOU. this mean YOU can be involved. (Rumor has it that Skinner and some of the other admin are going to stop by, we're working on getting them to speak.)

This will be a keeper and could potentially change history, and you could be a part of it.

Take some time and go have a look at the site, check out the amazing list of Delegates and Presenters, sign up and come on down to Boston - we'll need people like YOU when the HUMANS take over :)

18. We have a progressive network, but it needs to now become self-aware

and self-determining.

The list of participants is impressive - key people who have been building this capability over the course of many years. Like most folks here, I get to a few of them, and have become increasingly reliant on them as voices of anti-fascism in the media. You are right in saying this "could potentially change history," and I thank you for doing this.

I've noticed that occasionally one or another will initiate a campaign, letter-writing, demos, meet-ups or research or whatever, and get results. One practical outcome would be to develop a structure for deciding on specific actions and coordinating such campaigns to make them even more successful.
