12. Please don't hit me. Poor educational system - perhaps....

I don't like the teaching to the test and that it does seem as though kids aren't encouraged to think outside the box enough or to express much more than the by rote....

However, I've been noticing more and more lately that people just don't remember much for very long.

Example: My kids watched a documentary on the Chilean coup yesterday (aired on Free Speech TV) and I can guarantee you that they know more about that dismal affair than any of their grandparents, aunts or uncles can remember. And it's the same in many other pieces of our history, too.
