When John Kerry's sister was asked 'What if they cancel the election?'

this morning, she said (this is not a quote, but a paraphrase)

"Well, I don't want to be up here fomenting violent revolution..."

This was after she was asked about our legal recourse if they do so, to which her reply was, "legally, they can't"

5. The election WON'T be canceled. Here's what WILL happen, though.
California will experience a very high terrorist threat late in the afternoon, on election day. GOP voters will have already been to the polls, and Democrats will be stuck in traffic or so scared that they'll head straight home and not leave the house to go and vote.

Result? GOP gets CA's 54 electoral votes

Washington State may get the same treatment.

The above is premised on Boosh being behind in the electoral votes by mid-afternoon on election day. If he's comfortably ahead, then there won't be a Big Red TERROR! TERROR! TERROR! alert in California...or Washington State.

8. Me too...
I live in So Cal and am planning on taking election day off, renting a minivan, and driving people to the polls. I don't want to hear anybody say that they couldn't get there or that they were too scared to go! (In case they do declare an alert for us)

11. I posted months ago that GOP operatives have rented ALL the vans available
on election day in every county already.

I read it in a SC newspaper and posted the story here immediately. It wasn't in their online news so I typed it word for word.

9. Actually that is there wish but the election will be over before Calif.
even goes to the polls. This will be such a blow out that Californians will not even need to vote. Bush* is going down in a grand fashion.

10. It doesn't have to be a morning/evening thing.
Much more likely is some kind of regional effect with turnout being curtailed in SF & LA while places like San Diego, Orange County, and the Central Valley are unaffected. Combine this tactic with some stragetic touchscreening and assorted Diebold-ery plus god knows what other schemes helped along by our now BFEE-approved governor and we're in trouble.

12. My $'s on a California Anthrax scare---
easy to treat when caught early, keeps people in their homes, and Giuliani just opened an Anthrax clean-up company. Growth industry? What does he know that we don't?
