8. oh yeah? got a link to that?
Junior 'pug rants are funny and insane.... everybody needs a good dose of insanity every day. Hell if you watch Fox you'll get an elephant tranquilizer sized dose of insanity.

Nothing wrong w/ bein' weird. Remember, they thought our Founders were a bunch of weirdos for wanting to govern themselves.

11. Simmering along. It's hard to think or act if

you go above simmer so I try to keep it down. But the level rises when I see some Repubs on tv.

Right now I'm listening to Democratic Senator Tom Harkin on C-SPAN 2.

"The Republican Party is out of touch with the middle class and low income Americans."

You got that right!

He's now talking about Bush*'s budget shortchanging the No Child Left Behind Act "by a whopping $9.4 BILLION dollars." Telling our local schools what they've got to do and yet we don't provide the funding needed to do it, etc. Title I is shortchanged by $7 BILLION. Kids with disabilities are also screwed, as are college students -- Pell Grants to be frozen for third straight year.

Uh-oh, I'm doing a slow boil now! :grr:

16. My Irish is up....
Following the picture of Hannity with Cheney....
and O'Reilly categorically saying that Moore's movie is a complete lie top to bottom....

I also had an interesting conversation with a neocon the day before about how the middle class has "plenty of capacity left" in terms of buying what they need to get by....so why worry.

This got me to a new realization in the right wing neocon argument, which is to say that as long as we have "purchasing power"....then we have fulfilled our duty as middle class Americans.

Put the whole thing in a new perspective for me and why the corporate world has not only ripped us off....but they have essential changed our way of life in terms of working for the benefit of business.

Then couple this with the realization that Kerry probably won't have the congress behind him to get a supermajority to reverse any of his tax breaks to the rich...we'll have to settle for stale mate.

That's quite enough to get you pissed off for one week...
