Bottom line: Will Bush protect this country better than Kerry?
That is what many voters will look at on November 2nd. And the Bush regime will do everything within their power to persuade people that Bush is the better leader in these troubled times. Kerry must get people to question that premise. Why should we think he would be any better now than he was on September 11th, 2001? And what American thinks these stupid color codes are a good idea? And why are our National Guard, whose job is to protect our nation, getting shot over in Iraq? We need them at home. George W Bush may be trying but as Congressman Gephardt said during the primary, he is a "miserable failure".

2. It would be tough to do worse.
But give him four more years, and I'm sure he'll exceed his personal best.

6. Bottom line: Kerry won't scare the shit out of America for politics
No one can guarantee anything, let alone Kerry. But I trust he will not go Code Orange to rule via fear.

7. Bush isn't protecting our country at all.
He's got most of the world hating us. He's got much of the Islamic world ready for a holy war with us. He has not provided funds for first responders. He has not done anything to protect the ports. For all the talk about safeguarding air travel, an awful lot of people testing the system have gotten through it with no problem. I would say that as soon as he started war with Iraq, he has made our country much less safe--much less. So yes, I believe Kerry will protect his country better than bush. And if he has Wes Clark in his administration, so much the better.
